Our take on Animal Up!
Rather than using stages, exploration, or a conventional combat loop, the game centers on repeating a compact rescue routine. Direction changes are tied to throwing animals, so movement and the main objective are handled through the same timing-based action.
What is Animal Up!?
Animal Up!
is a retro arcade game about rescuing animals from a flood. A rescue worker moves across the screen and turns around at either edge. The left mouse button throws an animal and changes the worker’s direction, while the right mouse button changes direction directly. Players build scores by making well-timed throws in quick succession. The game includes animals to rescue, fruit to collect, traps to avoid, pixel-art graphics, music by Kevin MacLeod, and full Xbox 360 controller support. Its score-focused structure supports repeated attempts to reach a higher score and suits short play sessions.
