Professor Patrick Moore has 72 hours to prove the Great Beyond exists before his department closes. Assisted by Beatrice Shaw, a fraudulent medium, he works on the Box of Revelations, searches for a centuries-old artifact, and examines a haunted manor at 34 Benwell Street. The journey crosses London and Scotland and includes more than 60 pixel-art locations. Over 70 characters can be encountered, including historical figures such as Florence Cook, William Crookes, Harry Houdini, and Arthur Conan Doyle. Inventory-based puzzles form the core gameplay, while optional activities include reading horror fiction, reviewing supernatural case files, and watching a Georges Méliès film.
