Our take on Ambidextro
The two-character control scheme gives the game a focused coordination challenge, but that design leaves less room for conventional movement and exploration. Its quick, timed screens prioritize split attention and precision over spacious levels or slower-paced platforming.
What is Ambidextro?
Ambidextro is a single-player game built around simultaneous control of two characters.
Each character is assigned to one hand, requiring split attention and coordination as both halves move through quick, single-screen platforming stages. The objective is to bring the two characters together before the timer expires. Levels increase in challenge as play progresses, with 100 stages to complete. The story follows a royal wizard divided in two by a witch who has kidnapped the prince and princess; both halves must work together to rescue them. The game presents a dark retro-fantasy setting accompanied by dungeon synth music.
