Play it if you…
Good fit- Pairs who want a coordination-focused cooperative road trip
- Solo players who enjoy managing vehicle controls alone
- Players who prefer scenic exploration and photography during a road journey
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat, character progression, or a large mission structure may find the road-trip format limited.
- Players who dislike repeated coordination mistakes may bounce off the split steering and difficult braking inputs.
- Players looking for a competitive multiplayer game may not find the cooperative structure suitable.
Our take on Rosalie
The bounce point arrives at the steering system: two players must divide left and right inputs while coordinating pedaling, braking, reversing, and the handbrake. Solo play removes the communication problem but leaves one person responsible for every control when the road turns difficult.
What is Rosalie?
Rosalie is a cooperative road-trip game built around a two-seat pedal car.
In two-player mode, each person controls steering from one side, so turning requires coordinated input. Pedaling and braking work more effectively when both players act together, while simultaneous reversing or handbrake attempts can cause trouble. The journey crosses varied landscapes and includes exploration, wrong turns, hills, and photo-taking. Solo mode gives one player full steering control, but the same road-trip challenges remain. Reaching the finish is not the only activity: players can stop the vehicle and view the scenery, even after a failed attempt. The game supports either a pair sharing control or one player managing the vehicle alone.
How Rosalie plays
- 01Shared Vehicle Control
- Two players occupy one pedal car, with each controlling steering input from their own side.
- 02Cooperative Pedaling
- Synchronized player input makes pedaling and braking more effective.
- 03Solo Driving
- A single player can operate both sides of the vehicle's steering.
- 04Landscape Exploration
- Road-trip routes pass through varied environments with opportunities to take photos.
