Our take on Altwaldheim: Town in Turmoil
The defining loop pairs weekly decisions involving five factions with the risk of sending soldiers into dungeons, where defeat can cost the entire force.
What is Altwaldheim: Town in Turmoil?
Play as Altwaldheim’s new governor in a roguelike town simulation.
Build structures and manage the town’s economy as a small village grows. Each week, choose how to respond to problems involving five factions, from requests for food to fights among drunk soldiers. Decisions affect whether the factions remain willing to help. Recruit soldiers to defend against enemy forces and send them into dungeons to seek riches. Enemies grow stronger over time, and losing a force means losing everything. The game includes more than 100 events and over 50 hand-drawn buildings. The legendary hero Faustus Raginhard can lead the army.
