StrategyIs AgriLife worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Farming simulation players who want turn-based crop and soil management rather than real-time fieldwork
- Strategy players who enjoy adapting plans to changing weather and seasonal conditions
- Players who like managing food production for a growing population and meeting specific requests
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking fast-paced action may find the week-by-week turns and crop growth slow.
- Players who want a continuous campaign without restarting may dislike losing a run and beginning again with new plots.
- Players looking for a farming game without village population and food-supply pressure may find that management demand central.
Our take on AgriLife
The restart structure makes failure costly: a lost run returns to the initial village and new plots. Carrying unlocked content forward softens that reset, but progress in the current farm does not continue.
What is AgriLife?
AgriLife is a turn-based farming game about managing plots to supply food to a growing village.
Each week, players spend action points on tasks such as plowing, seeding, and harvesting, then advance time to see how crops develop. Soil changes over time, while weather and seasons affect the land. Crops draw resources from the soil and can influence nearby plants and their growing conditions; needs vary by species. Players monitor food supplies and village requests as the population grows.
New tools, land plots, and strategy advice can be unlocked during play. Losing a game means restarting with a new set of plots and the initial village, while retaining unlocked content. The game also features soundscapes that change with seasons, weather, and time of day.
How AgriLife plays
- 01Changing soil conditions
- Crop choices interact with soil resources, moisture, weather, and longer-term erosion risks.
- 02Village food demands
- Food supplies must keep pace with population growth, and residents may request particular crops.
- 03Persistent unlocks
- A restart begins with new plots and the initial village, but previously unlocked content remains available.
- 04Adaptive soundscapes
- Ambient sounds and music vary with the season, weather, and time of day.
