The conversation system gives choices a central role, but that focus leaves less room for conventional combat, gear management, or other action-adventure systems. Progress is tied to dialogue, exploration, and themed drinking activities rather than a wider set of gameplay tools.
What is Afterparty?
Afterparty follows Milo and Lola, two recently deceased friends trying to leave Hell by defeating Satan in a drinking contest.
Players move through an underworld made of islands connected by the River Styx, investigate the circumstances of their deaths, and interact with a large cast. A choice-based conversation system alters the story and relationships. More than 30 drinks affect available dialogue and character traits, while activities include beer pong, dance-offs, and chugging contests. The game includes voice performances from Janina Gavankar, Khoi Dao, Ashly Burch, Erin Yvette, and Dave Fennoy, plus an original soundtrack by scntfc.
