We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players seeking enemy-free aerial exploration rather than combat
- Fans of short, low-pressure game sessions
- Players who enjoy atmospheric scenery and repeated collectible hunts
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat, danger, or substantial mechanical challenge will hit a wall when they find that levels contain no enemies and collisions only reset progress.
- Players looking for complex decisions or deep progression may lose interest once each stage is reduced to collecting enough diamonds to finish.
- Players wanting a story-driven adventure may find the focus on flying through scenery and collecting items too limited.
Our take on Aery - Peace of Mind
Players looking for tension will bounce off at the first collision or collectible run: there are no enemies, meaningful danger, or demanding recovery system. Those expecting deeper progression may also hit the wall when a level simply ends after enough diamonds are gathered.
What is Aery - Peace of Mind?
Aery - Peace of Mind is a calm exploration game in which players control a small bird flying through stylized landscapes.
Levels are selected from a menu and begin with a brief preview before the flight starts. The main objective is to gather a set number of memory diamonds scattered through each environment. Diamond locations change between playthroughs. There are no enemies or dangerous encounters; collisions reset the bird to the position of the last collected diamond.
After gathering enough diamonds, the level ends and another stage can be selected. Most stages can be completed quickly, while players may also spend extra time exploring. The game focuses on flying, collecting, and viewing atmospheric scenery rather than challenge, combat, or complex decision-making.
