Our take on Ad Wars
The multi-genre premise is the headline, but the game is structured as three separate episodes rather than one blended system. That distinction matters for players expecting a unified campaign with mechanics that develop continuously across the full adventure.
What is Ad Wars?
Travel through an internet-themed world as Alt, the sole survivor of the Adpocalypse, in a campaign split into three episodes.
Each episode uses a different gameplay style. Super Freemium Lands combines jumping with shooting against Gengens. Clickbait Kingdom presents RPG-style battles against monsters. Download City follows a detective in a top-down shooter setting. The central objective across the adventure is destroying advertisements and confronting the Ad Corporations that have overrun the world. The story frames Alt’s journey as a final attempt to free humanity from the aftermath of the Adpocalypse.
