Our take on A2 Zygon
Its focused bullet-hell combat keeps the emphasis on dodging and shooting, but leaves less room for other play styles. The two-character selection and story routes add variation within that framework rather than changing the core combat format.
What is A2 Zygon?
Fight demons and evil spirits in Vodos as one of two characters, each with different strengths, and confront the wizard Osilis.
This bullet hell combines shooting with spell upgrades and health increases as a run progresses. Story mode saves progress, allows boss retries without replaying the whole level, and offers two routes with different difficulty levels. Boss dialogue changes according to play, while challenge levels add tougher encounters and a side story. Cards provide lore and hints. The game uses retro-styled graphics and includes 8-bit and modern versions of its soundtrack. Combat includes effects such as fire, freezing, and curses. Flashing lights and special effects may pose a risk to people with photosensitive epilepsy or similar conditions.
