Our take on A Week of Circus Terror
The haunted-house mystery receives most of the framing, but the playable structure is more specific: click between rooms, inspect occasional objects, then repeat night survival while scores reset after failure. The absence of a pause menu is also a practical detail beneath the horror presentation.
What is A Week of Circus Terror?
Investigate a haunted house connected to its owner’s suicide, a missing son, and a 40-year awakening.
Gerald searches rooms and objects during the day, then faces possessed toys and an antagonist when night begins. Mouse clicks move between rooms, while keyboard controls operate the flashlight, light bulb, map, and menu. The game includes clowns, scary sounds, animations, and jumpscares. Surviving a night confirms its score, while failure resets that night’s result. Scores are separated between nights 1–10 and nights 11–13, independently of the story. The game starts in full screen and has no pause menu.
