Our take on A Rogue Escape
The game puts much of its attention on learning the mech’s controls, trading a wider range of activities for a focused escape challenge. That emphasis may make progress feel deliberate, especially for players who prefer direct controls over experimentation.
What is A Rogue Escape?
A Rogue Escape is a VR adventure about stealing a crawling mech and using it to escape a planet while avoiding capture.
Players explore the machine, testing levers, switches, buttons, and monitors to learn how to operate it. Clues reveal the player’s whereabouts, while dangers lie beyond the mech. The game has five distinct control centers to master and reimagines Nauticrawl for VR. An adjustable in-game floor accommodates players of different heights. The game is available in nine languages and is designed for Oculus Rift S, Oculus Quest 1 and 2, HTC Vive, and Valve Index.
