What is 秘封フラグメント?
This fan-made novel game based on the Touhou Project music CD series Secret Sealing Club begins when Maribel Hearn and Renko Usami meet after entering university.
Set before Renko's Night of Ghostly Field, it follows their attempt to complete an adventure. Conversations provide written memory fragments. Players select words from those fragments to create keywords, then assign keywords at key moments to produce story branches. There are no conventional choices, and simply reading or trying every option does not advance the story. The game uses a structure close to an escape game or puzzle, with progress depending on interpreting collected information and solving its narrative mechanisms. In-game hints and additional step-by-step hints cover sections where progress may stop.
