Our take on Alone in the School
Rather than presenting a conventional horror story in chronological order, the game makes memory recovery the organizing structure. Progress comes from locating five fragments around the school, with each discovery filling in another part of the day’s unexplained events.
What is Alone in the School?
Alone in the School follows a girl who cannot recall what happened earlier that day.
She explores a haunted school, locating five memory fragments that gradually restore her recollection and reveal the truth. Concealed dangers turn the search into a fight for survival. The arrow keys move her, Z activates interactions, and holding Shift with an arrow key triggers a dash. Escape brings up the menu, while Alt and Enter change the display mode. Progress combines examining school areas, gathering the scattered pieces, recovering the girl’s memories, and avoiding threats long enough to reconstruct the events.
