Our take on Z-Company
Players looking for broad exploration may bounce off after seeing the two-map scope. Those who prefer direct shooting without construction may hit a wall when objectives require turrets, barricades, mines, or barbed wire.
What is Z-Company?
Z-Company combines top-down shooting with tower-defense systems in a zombie outbreak setting.
Players defend strategic targets against hordes that can number in the hundreds, using pistols, shotguns, submachine guns, assault rifles, and sniper rifles. Defensive construction includes turrets, barricades, mines, and barbed wire. The game offers solo play and cooperative multiplayer for up to four players, with Wave Defense and Secure Target modes. Secured targets provide new weapons and money, while a soldier’s permanent experience unlocks cosmetic items. Character customization is included, alongside two maps. The gameplay centers on protecting objectives, placing defenses, and fighting through zombie attacks.
