Our take on Yag
The bounce point arrives at the configuration layer: users who only want to launch a prebuilt campaign may stop when map editing, Lua-based customization, visibility controls, and tabletop setup become part of the play process.
What is Yag?
Yag is a 3D virtual tabletop for online play.
It provides dungeons, voxel terrains, miniatures, dice, and character sheets for role-playing games and other games using maps, pawns, and dice. Dungeons and terrains can be generated procedurally, then edited manually. Users can import public images and add square or hexagonal grids for wargames. The system includes animated pawns across settings such as antiquity, medieval fantasy, modern, cyberpunk, and science fiction. Lua scripting supports customizable dice and character sheets, while an HTTP REST API can control parts of Yag through web browsers, phones, or tablets. Lighting, clouds, fog, hidden pawns, and fog of war provide tools for revealing or concealing map content during play.
How Yag plays

- 04Hidden map content
