What is Xuan-Yuan Sword: Dance of the Maple Leaves?
Set during China’s Warring States era, this turn-based role-playing game follows Fu Ziche, a disciple of the thinker Mozi.
After uncovering a scheme involving Shu Sangzi, Fu Ziche travels across the lands to investigate and protect peace. His companions include Shu Sangzi’s daughter Sang Wenjin, former Mohist craftsman Zhu Shizi, and the talkative parrot Jipeng. Historical figures such as Gongshu Ban, Guiguzi, Sun Bin, and Pang Juan appear in the story. Ancient mechanical craft features in the adventure, including a mechanical figure that can be controlled through sound and later assists the party. Side stories and character dialogue touch on schools of thought, customs, farming, cooking, medicine, philosophy, and literature. The game is available only in Chinese.
