Our take on Witchcraft Survivors
Its defining structure is the reversal of a familiar bullet-hell setup: the hero generates the screen-filling magical assault while surviving increasingly large monster waves.
What is Witchcraft Survivors?
Witchcraft Survivors is an action roguelite RPG built around fighting large monster waves with spells and upgrades.
Each hero has distinct spells, builds, progression routes, strengths, and weaknesses. Runs usually last 10–25 minutes, during which characters grow from weak to extremely strong. After a run, three permanent progression systems provide further development through achievements, character-specific experience paths, and general upgrades bought with gold in a shop. Stages feature different monsters and bosses, while difficulty settings change challenge and rewards. Multiple modes alter how stages play. The Desert stage offers an endless mode with increasingly strong enemy waves. Characters can be upgraded without limit, and additional activities include collecting treasure rat loot, obtaining cursed relics, and buying up to 6 cats.
