Our take on Wilderplace
Levels remain fixed after completion within a branching map, while later tools can change how earlier areas are approached. This structure connects individual puzzle solutions to the wider journey and gives each play-through a different route through the hand-crafted world.
What is Wilderplace?
Wilderplace is a turn-based spatial puzzle adventure set in the Divine Garden.
Players explore a maze-like world, use magical artifacts, and influence spirits and intruders with distinct goals. More than 150 interconnected puzzles form a branching map, with levels becoming fixed after completion and offering multiple solution paths. Progression adds tools and movement options, eventually enabling manipulation of time, space, and the environment. The game combines puzzle mechanics with its narrative, includes more than 10 goal-driven NPCs, and offers moral choices, secrets, hand-drawn art, and a retro synth soundtrack. A full playthrough lasts 10–15 hours.
