Wild West Legacy combines open-world exploration with survival, homestead building, farming, crafting, and settlement management.
After an attack leaves the protagonist stranded, the story follows survival and the discovery of a frontier secret. Players can construct and decorate a home, gather resources, hunt, and endure cold nights, heat, seasonal changes, and wild animals. They can also recruit settlers and oversee food, water, supplies, jobs, and transport between settlements. Exploration takes place across a fictional American Midwest containing wildlife, settlements, and resources to discover. Construction, hunting, decoration, and other activities can be viewed from an optional first-person perspective.
