CasualIs We See You worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Rhythm-game players who want movement timed to a beat rather than matching notes or arcs.
- Runner fans who prefer survival attempts in randomly generated stages.
- Score chasers who want an in-game Steam leaderboard and the option to replay a specific seed.
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a forgiving run structure may find that sharing a tile with an enemy ends attempts immediately.
- Those who prefer a steady difficulty curve may not enjoy the rising challenge and increasingly intense survival runs.
- Players looking for a story-led adventure may find the focus on repeated runs, depth, and score leaves little room for narrative.
Our take on We See You
Every move is queued for the next beat of a background heartbeat, and stepping onto an enemy’s tile ends the run. That timing rule shapes both navigation and the risk of each move.
What is We See You?
We See You is a down-scrolling runner built around a heartbeat rhythm.
Players control a pair of eyes, queuing each move for the next beat while avoiding enemies whose movement follows different patterns. Sharing a tile with an enemy ends the run immediately. Stages are randomly generated, and players can also view and play a specific seed. Enemy indicators show their next move and warn when the player is in danger.
Multiple power-up items appear during a stage, each granting a distinct effect when used. The goal is to descend as far as possible, earn points, and place a score on the in-game Steam leaderboard. Difficulty rises with depth and eventually reaches a cap, though survival remains challenging. Controls can be rebound for gamepads, and menus support navigation with those controls.
How We See You plays
