Our take on Waveform
The listing foregrounds the game’s large level count and range of modes, but the central activity remains repeated wave adjustment through action-puzzle stages. Its variety comes from objects, difficulty layers, altered replays, and endless scenarios rather than from different gameplay genres.
What is Waveform?
Waveform is an action-puzzle game set across the solar system, from Pluto to the Sun.
Players guide a moving wave of light by dragging the mouse to change its amplitude and wavelength, affecting both the wave’s route and surrounding objects. The game includes 100 levels across 11 worlds, with hazards and interactive objects such as wormholes, particle accelerators, and Space Squids. Levels offer multiple difficulty layers, optional bonuses, and achievements. After completing the main game, New Game+ provides altered versions of the levels. Deep Space Mode adds 11 randomly generated endless scenarios with high-score tracking on Steam Leaderboards. The presentation combines colorful graphics with a retro soundtrack whose audio changes with the pace of play.
