Is WARSHIFT worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Action-strategy players who want to alternate between troop management and direct combat
- Single-player campaign fans seeking linked missions with separate interactive training missions
- Players who prefer AI skirmishes or cooperative play alongside a single-player campaign
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want one consistent control style may hit a wall when switching between strategy commands and direct combat.
- Players seeking a longer campaign may find the 10 linked single-player missions limiting.
- Players looking for a purely tactical strategy game may not want direct action combat and character customization.
Our take on WARSHIFT
The likely bounce point is the transition from managing a base and troops to controlling an avatar in combat. Players who want one steady strategy or action loop may lose interest when the game requires both.
What is WARSHIFT?
WARSHIFT combines action, strategy, and role-playing elements.
Players build a base, manage troops, and control combat avatars directly during dynamic battles, switching between strategy and action modes. NODE-based strategy gameplay is paired with customization and evolution systems for the main characters, along with dozens of weapons and upgrades, super-abilities, and transformations. The game features heavy flying battleships and environments on the ground, in the air, on water, underwater, and in outer space through an orbital mission. Its structure includes 10 linked single-player missions and 4 interactive training missions. Custom skirmishes against AI and cooperative play are also available. The story is set on the invaded colonial planet Enigma.
