What is Sons of Valhalla?
Thorald Olavson pursues the Jarl responsible for destroying his home and abducting his beloved in a Viking-era campaign across England.
The game mixes two-dimensional fighting with fortress construction, army management, and assaults on strongholds. Funds gathered during expeditions pay for weapons, troop improvements, buildings, siege devices, traders, and fresh soldiers. A branching map permits backtracking, bypassing destinations, and returning to places after expanding the warband, though a spreading storm may cut off remote settlements. Combat combines direct use of blades, bows, and spears with commands, formations, and special skills. Defeat restarts the campaign, while runestones offered to Odin unlock selected fighters and gear permanently for future attempts.
