Our take on Wands
Rather than using the usual fantasy adventure structure of exploration and extended quests, the game focuses on direct first-person spell duels. Practice against AI leads into online competition, with loadout building and leaderboard progress replacing a conventional campaign.
What is Wands?
Wands is a first-person virtual reality game centered on online magic duels.
Players select wands, equip different spells, and fight other players in arenas set in The Beyond. An AI opponent provides progressively tougher practice battles before competitive matches against players worldwide. Victories contribute to leaderboard competition, while time between fights can be used to find additional spells, open new characters, and assemble loadouts in a private workshop. The game includes 25 spells and 15 wands, along with competitive seasons and events. Cross-platform play allows matches between players using different VR headsets.
