Our take on Vitrum
Instead of treating gravity as a fixed rule of platforming, Vitrum makes its inversion a player-controlled ability. Crystal powers also replace a standard movement set, while the editor and shared stages extend play beyond the supplied levels.
What is Vitrum?
Vitrum is a first-person 3D puzzle-platform game set in a desert laboratory.
Players control an android that absorbs energy from crystals, with each color granting a different power. Energy can be held in either hand, allowing powers to be combined to solve puzzles and reach each stage’s exit. Abilities include reversing gravity, creating crystal platforms and making very high jumps. Some crystals provide powers, while others harm the android. Players can collect crystal shards to unlock Insane stages. The game includes more than 45 stages, a stage editor and stages shared by the community.
How Vitrum plays
- 01Combined crystal powers
- The android can absorb energy with both hands and mix abilities to tackle puzzles.
- 02Gravity reversal
- Players can choose when and where to invert gravity while moving through the 3D stages.
- 03Community-made stages
- A stage editor supports player-created levels that can be shared with the community.
- 04Insane stage unlocks
- Collecting crystal shards opens access to additional stages in this difficulty tier.
