Our take on Vesta
Rather than presenting exploration as a solo journey, the game divides tasks between a young protagonist, a guiding companion, and a physically capable robot. Puzzle solving, energy management, combat, and story discovery share the same underground maze, replacing a single-purpose adventure structure.
What is Vesta?
Explore an underground maze across 36 levels, moving through varied environments filled with obstacles and enemy robots.
Vesta, a six-year-old girl, relies on BOT for guidance and DROID for physical tasks and combat. Progress requires solving puzzles, managing the limited energy remaining in the abandoned complex, and using DROID to confront dangers. The game combines exploration, environmental challenges, puzzle solving, and fights for survival. Along the way, Vesta investigates the ruins of a former human city and seeks the truth behind the world she inhabits. BOT accompanies her while withholding parts of what it knows about the complex and its history.
How Vesta plays
- 0136-Level Maze
- The journey spans an underground complex with varied areas, obstacles, and enemy encounters.
- 02Vesta And DROID
- Vesta handles the exploration while DROID performs physical tasks and serves as her weapon.
- 03Energy Management
- Progress involves managing the small amount of energy remaining in the complex.
- 04Puzzle Solving
- Environmental puzzles block the route through the abandoned underground city.
- 05Robot Combat
- Enemy machines create hazards that Vesta and DROID must face during the journey.
Vesta compared to similar games
Vesta combines maze exploration, environmental puzzles, limited-energy management, and robot combat across 36 levels. Jusant centers on climbing a tall tower, managing stamina, and exploring alternate routes, so its traversal structure differs from Vesta's puzzle-and-combat progression.
