RPGIs Vespera worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Idle RPG fans who want character progression to continue during offline periods
- Solo players who prefer automated combat alongside gathering and crafting systems
- Players seeking class builds with dungeons, faction events, and layered endgame progression
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a tightly directed, fully manual combat experience may find its automation central to the design.
- Players who prefer a short campaign with limited character-building layers may find the many progression systems demanding.
- Players looking for a purely single-player RPG may not want faction activities and world-boss events involving other players.
Our take on Vespera
Automation and offline advancement reduce the need for constant input, but they also make moment-to-moment combat less central. The game gives more attention to build planning, resource routines, and long-term progression than to continuous manual control.
What is Vespera?
Vespera is an idle RPG with offline advancement for supported activities for up to 24 hours.
Players choose a class, develop subclass talent trees, fight through a dark campaign, clear dungeons, climb the Tower, and face Nightmare Dungeons and world bosses. Gathering includes chopping, mining, fishing, and hunting, with resources used to make equipment, food, and potions. Mercenaries can fight alongside the player or undertake expeditions. Factions involve other players through War Chests and rotating world-boss events. Character development includes socketed gems, six elemental paths, skill engravings, Tower gear, and Soulwake upgrades. Configurable automation covers combat, casting, healing, consumables, gathering, crafting, and loot rules. The game has no microtransactions.
