Our take on Veritus
The expedition-and-camp structure gives up continuous forward movement in favor of preparation between encounters. Gathering resources, equipping weapons and tools, and resting at safe havens creates a pause before each further journey into the castle.
What is Veritus?
Veritus is an adventure RPG set in the castle of a god of shadow.
Players explore its dark chambers and corridors, facing monsters, mysteries, and puzzles that block progress. The central objective is to find fragments of a lost key scattered throughout the castle and uncover the secrets within the throne room. Before leaving camp, players collect resources and equipment for each journey. Weapons and tools are available for dealing with dangers in the castle, while companions can join expeditions. Safe havens serve as camps where players regroup, equip items, and rest after encounters before setting out again.
