Rather than using combat scenes or visual exploration as its main structure, this adventure turns vampire politics into a text-led investigation. Progress comes through judgments, alliances, social pressure, and written consequences, making court maneuvering the central activity.
What is Vampire: The Masquerade — Parliament of Knives?
A 600,000-word interactive horror novel set in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe.
The Prince of Ottawa has vanished, leaving the city’s immortal court divided and vulnerable. Players investigate the disappearance while choosing whether to protect Eden Corliss, their sire, or support her rivals. Three clans offer different abilities: Ventrue uses dominance, Nosferatu relies on stealth, and Toreador has heightened senses. The story includes political maneuvering, evidence gathering, factional conflict with the Anarchs, and consequences for incorrect accusations. Players can command a manservant and ghoul, pursue romance with a sheriff or seer, and choose a male, female, or nonbinary character with gay, straight, or bisexual orientation.
