ValiDate is a romantic visual novel set around Jercy City, where four playable adults navigate relationships, demanding 9-to-5 jobs, quarter-life crises, and uncertain transitions into mid-adulthood.
Players make decisions across more than 30 routes, including choices that produce negative consequences and different endings. The story follows characters finding romance through interests such as cosplay, music, and poetry. The cast is part of a narrative written by an all-people-of-color team, with artwork by artists of color giving each character a distinct presentation. The characters are flawed and receive individual narrative arcs. Achievements are available for every ending. Nine additional playable characters are planned for future volumes.
