Vagrant Hearts 2 continues the story of Scarllet and her companions after Valmor's defeat.
Peace has returned to Azulel, and the Brotherhood has regained its standing, but trouble is developing in nearby territories. Weeks after vanishing, Scarllet and Wyatt reappear in Dark Azulel, a neglected region made up of islands without a central government. A secretive group known as the Black Scepters is hunting Scarllet for reasons that remain unclear. The story also centers on a new ability she has acquired.
