Our take on V1RUZ
Rather than focusing only on the undead, V1RUZ also makes bandits a threat and a source of loot. Its survival structure combines top-down exploration, camp raids, objective-based character progression, crafting, and a place to store supplies.
What is V1RUZ?
V1RUZ is a survival game viewed from above, set in a deteriorating United States amid a spreading virus outbreak.
The player faces hostile ghouls as well as bandits, whose camps can be raided for loot once they are defeated. Its 2 x 2km map includes sites to explore and search for supplies. Completing objectives awards experience for character upgrades and level progression; reaching the highest level opens crafting recipes. Players can create weapons and tools, such as a machete, and construct a camp where supplies can be stored. Combat allows enemies’ limbs to be severed.
