Our take on V ARRR
Its defining structure is a ship that sails automatically while the player builds defenses and fights off pirate boarders from a fixed position.
What is V ARRR?
V ARRR is a virtual-reality action game about defending a ship while pursuing the largest vessel.
The ship moves on its own, leaving players to prepare defenses with objects found around it, fire guns, and repel pirates who attack with weapons and ropes. Each voyage increases the defensive challenge, leading to a final battle. Completing every travel sequence unlocks the 100 Pirate War, where players take turns competing for the highest pirate kill count and the game records the best score. Combat progression includes skill and weapon upgrades, while rare chests obtained through fishing provide access to uncommon upgrades. The game does not include manual sailing or free roaming.
