Our take on Unknown Fate
The defining detail is the shift from Richard’s real world into a surreal universe where familiar scenes, lost memories, puzzles, and creatures shape the search for a way back.
What is Unknown Fate?
Unknown Fate is a story-driven first-person adventure set across a surreal universe that Richard enters after leaving the real world.
With his memory damaged, Richard encounters unusual characters, strange artifacts, and environments that resemble parts of his former life while searching for a route back to reality. Gameplay combines exploration with puzzles that require manipulating objects to reveal clues and open a path forward. Enemies also stand between Richard and answers about the world around him. The game supports VR and non-VR play, with tracked controllers, gamepads, and keyboard and mouse controls. In non-VR mode at launch, eye tracking can highlight objects and trigger environmental events; Tobii support for VR is planned.
How Unknown Fate plays

- 02Multiple Control Options
