Unearthing Colossal casts the player as Reaper, a titan of death tasked with restoring cycles of life and death after the Bringer of Life creates sentient Humans.

Souls harvested during play can be spent on weapon upgrades that extend their combat use or on improvements to Reaper with various benefits.
