Our take on Unavailed
The daily planning structure trades broad exploration and conventional RPG combat for repeated decisions about needs, emotions, and deadlines. The bubble-clicking activity format adds urgency, but also makes progress depend on a specific minigame style rather than varied encounter systems.
What is Unavailed?
Unavailed follows Mia as she tries to change her isolated lifestyle.
Each day, activities are selected from a growing list, with every choice consuming Hunger, Energy, and Time while affecting Mood, Motivation, and Loneliness. Progress requires reaching meter thresholds by specific dates. Cleanliness, Room Cleanliness, and Overwhelmed add further conditions that activities can reset to prevent penalties. Completing an activity leads to a shooter-style minigame in which negative-emotion bubbles must be clicked before reaching Mia. The minigames become progressively more difficult. Story events reveal how Mia reached her current situation, with hand-painted pixel art, animations, and an original soundtrack supporting the presentation.
