Our take on Right and Down and Dice
The listing foregrounds the large counts of heroes, artifacts, and dungeons, but the core decision structure remains deliberately narrow: each turn offers only right or down. Much of the game’s variety therefore comes from randomized encounters, dice assignments, and changing rules rather than broad exploration.
What is Right and Down and Dice?
This roguelike uses randomly generated card dungeons with a restricted route: each turn allows movement either right or down.
New encounter cards trigger turn-based battles, where dice are rolled and assigned to enemies or skills. Dice can damage opponents, activate effects, provide additional rolls, or restore health, while enemies act on their own turns. Runs include blessings from shrines and artifacts purchased from a shopkeeper. Progression includes 6 heroes with distinct starting equipment and skills, more than 100 artifacts, and 30 dungeons, each adding a rule and raising the difficulty. A Daily Mode introduces randomly generated conditions for additional runs.

Right and Down and Dice compared to similar games
Shogun Showdown also combines turn-based combat with roguelike progression, but it centers on positioning, attack tiles, combos, and deck building before a final Shogun encounter. Right and Down and Dice instead restricts movement to right or down and uses dice assigned to enemies and skills, with heroes, artifacts, and rule-changing dungeons.
