What is Ultimate Arena?
Ultimate Arena is an arena simulation built around selecting or creating characters and setting the conditions for their fights.
Players can place hazards such as landmines, distribute care packages, and trigger events during battles. Custom characters can include dialogue, battle cries, and final speeches, while new events can introduce hazards such as poisonous fog, falling animals, or hostile robots. Characters and events can be shared through the Steam Workshop. The game is open source, allowing feature requests and community-written additions. It left Early Access in August 2016 and has received two major updates, including Staycation Nation, an event centered on creating a themed arena scenario.
