- Players who prefer stealth and conversations as their main activities may prefer a game such as Ghost of a Tale
Our take on TWO MONTHS
The compact playthrough keeps attention on mansion exploration, combat, and build choices, but offers less room for extended progression than a longer RPG.
What is TWO MONTHS?
TWO MONTHS follows a two-month effort to develop the Pyra, a handheld computing device, through a souls-like action RPG set in Mrozek Mansion.
Players explore interconnected areas, fight monsters with sword-and-shield combat, and retrieve components needed to assemble the device. The level-up system supports different build approaches, including high damage, evasion, blocking, regeneration, or combinations of these choices. Secret areas, shortcuts, environmental hazards, and challenging bosses shape progression through the mansion. A first playthrough takes 8–12 hours on average, depending on skill level. The game also includes a retro soundtrack by Filippo Vicarelli.
