Our take on Tricky Madness
The arcade focus trades realistic snowboarding behavior for speed, aerial stunts, and score management. The combo system also makes some earned points conditional: a wipeout can erase the bonus accumulated during an unfinished chain.
What is Tricky Madness?
Forthcoming snowboarding title built around rapid downhill runs, airborne maneuvers, and arcade-style racing.
It offers eight handcrafted stages with secret routes and distinct settings, alongside a separate story campaign on a mountain that can be explored freely for hidden items and collectibles. Spins, flips, grabs, and rail work charge a Freaky gauge, enabling special Wicked moves. Performing tricks and grinds also accumulates boost, which can be triggered after touching down for a short speed increase. Linking maneuvers raises combo rewards, though bonus points disappear when a crash ends the sequence. The roster contains eight voiced riders, each with a personal history, character traits, and appearance, while an in-game DJ provides spoken commentary during runs.
How Tricky Madness plays

- Scoring from tricks and grinds builds a boost level that can be released after landing for a limited period.

- The campaign mountain contains secrets and collectibles to discover.
- 05Eight voiced characters
- Each rider has an individual backstory, personality, and visual style.
- 06DJ commentary
