Our take on Trash Squad
Players who need a fixed campaign structure may bounce off when levels begin using randomized combinations of the six scenery settings. Those expecting every character to be available immediately also hit a progression wall after the initial choice of two.
What is Trash Squad?
Trash Squad combines shooting with character progression as an elite waste-management crew confronts creatures emerging from a city dump.
Its campaign uses more than twelve procedurally arranged stages across six visual environments. Ten playable heroes are available: two from the outset, with the remainder gained during advancement. Each has distinct abilities, while experience permits improvements to attributes and the acquisition of talents. The arsenal covers firearms, energy weapons, blades, explosives, and launchers for both near and distant attacks. Foes take the form of discarded household and street objects, including light bulbs and other strange refuse. Mercenaries and enchanted animal companions can fight alongside the chosen hero. Multiple play modes also provide tougher settings for continued challenges.
