What is Trash Quest?
Trash Quest is a compact metroidvania set aboard the Deliverance space station, where a raccoon searches for trash while moving through an interconnected maze of rooms.
Run-and-gun combat pits the raccoon against robots, while tight platforming governs movement through the station. The game has no checkpoints: death returns the raccoon to one central spawn point. Progress saves automatically, and collected power-ups, acquired abilities, and unlocked shortcuts remain after death. The structure places the station around this single return point, letting exploration expand as new abilities and routes become available. The crew remains in cryopods while the station’s artificial intelligence performs a systems check and detects the unexpected lifeform.
