Our take on Toy Clash
Players who want combat without tactical deployment may hit a wall when choosing where to place units: positioning and unit matchups are central to the battles. Those seeking an open-ended structure may also find the 48-stage format limiting.
What is Toy Clash?
Toy Clash is a virtual reality tower-offense game in which players attack an opponent’s tower while protecting their own from attacks.
Battles use toy units and spells. Each unit type has strengths or weaknesses against particular types, so players decide when and where to place units as a battle develops. A tanker unit can stand in front of ranged units to shield their weaker health from melee attacks. Toy units grow stronger as the player wins. The game has 48 stages, including 9 challenge stages and 3 boss stages, and a world with three stage themes. It includes 23 different toy units and 6 spells.
