Our take on Tower of Spirit
Players who want to equip every useful relic may hit a wall at the emblem loadout: the game limits how many can be equipped, so choices between bonuses and combinations are part of each run.
What is Tower of Spirit?
Tower of Spirit is a short, turn-based RPG with roguelike elements.
Each run takes the party through a sequence of random encounters, including combat, discovery, and bonfire events, each with different challenges and rewards. At bonfires, the party can gain a new character. Characters have distinct combat styles and abilities, and recruiting them creates opportunities to try different team combinations. More than 30 emblems offer bonuses and abilities, but the party cannot equip all of them, so choices shape each run. Encounters, enemies, and discoveries vary between attempts. The goal is to travel through mysterious lands and reach the tower. Characters and monsters are hand-drawn and animated in a 2D style.

Tower of Spirit compared to similar games
Shogun Showdown also uses turn-based combat and roguelike progression, but its description centers on positioning, attack tiles, combos, and building a deck of skills. Tower of Spirit instead focuses on recruiting party members, random event types, and selecting which emblems to equip. Back to the Dawn is an RPG about investigating and escaping a prison, rather than making a run toward a tower.
