We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Fans of falling-tower games who want a PC version rather than a physical board game
- Two people looking for a turn-based tower game to play together
- Players who prefer a short, single-task game over a broad collection of activities
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a deep strategy game with several interacting systems may find the central task narrowly focused on moving bars
- Those who want varied objectives across repeated sessions may find the same collapse-based round structure repetitive
- Players looking for a solo game with story-driven progression may not find that kind of structure here
Our take on Tower Fall
The simple bar-removal format keeps play focused on tower balance, but gives up the broader goals and progression found in games built around multiple systems or campaigns.
What is Tower Fall?
Tower Fall adapts a falling-tower board game for PC.
The tower is built in floors, with three bars in each floor and the direction alternating between floors. Players take turns removing one bar at a time and placing it on top of the tower. The round ends when the tower falls, and the player who loses is the one whose turn causes the collapse. The game offers three modes: play against artificial intelligence, play between two people, or use scoring mode. It also includes different locations and several types of bars.
