Our take on Tourney
The likely sticking point is the split between running the grounds and managing a noble house’s fighters. Players who want to focus on building facilities may hit a wall when stages demand attention to tactics, training, equipment, and the risk of losing knights.
What is Tourney?
Tourney combines tournament-ground management with control of a noble house’s competitors.
Players build areas for jousting, melee combat, and archery, then invite knights to take part. Visitors include nobles and peasants; facilities such as apothecaries, blacksmiths, ale wagons, and hog roasts generate income, while staff such as jesters and guards support the grounds. Players choose champions, set tactics and event order, and can train knights, improve their equipment, and use potions while monitoring the risk of death. The game includes 13 playable houses, each with its own heraldry and champion roster. Story campaign, single-scenario, and sandbox modes take place across four legendary settings. Some stages emphasize competitor management, while others focus more on running the facilities.
