Our take on Touring Karts
Instead of centering on lap times and realistic racing, Touring Karts makes surprise and disruption part of its race structure through craftable power-ups. Its campaign also extends the format beyond individual races with more than 500 challenges.
What is Touring Karts?
Touring Karts is a kart racing game built around VR play, chaotic races, and surprises, and can also be played on non-VR platforms.
Online play supports up to 8 players and offers Daily Cups, custom play with friends, and Random Play. A story-based mode includes more than 500 challenges and can be played alone or in multiplayer; the vendor estimates over 120 hours to complete it. Players can combine existing power-ups to craft up to 45 new ones.
The game has 22 tracks and 30 customizable cars, with tracks and teams inspired by Formula 1. Three VR-specific viewpoints are available: a view described as free of dizziness, a third-person view, and a first-person view. Quick Race makes all cars and tracks available from the start.
