Good fit- Groups of friends who want shared-couch matches rather than solo-only play

- Players looking for team management or a longer league structure may find the match-focused format limited
Our take on Toasterball
Players who want a stable sports ruleset will likely bounce off the post-goal variant system. The point where portals, lava pits, moving platforms, explosions, or altered ball physics enter the match can change how the next phase must be played.
What is Toasterball?
Toasterball is a physics-based sports game for 1–4 local players.
Toasters compete to push a ball into two goals, using short button presses to launch toast and jump around the field. Longer presses send toast higher, while continued play reveals moves such as double-jumps and the TURBOFLIP. A new random variant follows each goal, changing conditions with features such as portals, lava pits, moving platforms, explosions, or different ball physics. The game includes 24 variants, five arenas, three AI toaster opponents, and 14 playable athletes. Custom matches allow players to select arenas and variants, set their order, alter toaster size and toast count, and change rules covering goal durability, toaster damage, and the points required to win.
