Our take on Times Of War
The store copy emphasizes explosive battles and varied military vehicles, but the central activity is placing and maintaining defensive structures. Electricity consumption, tower heat, resource storage, and repairs add a substantial management layer beneath the combat framing.
What is Times Of War?
Times Of War is a sci-fi tower defense game about protecting a base from advancing cars, tanks, helicopters, and planes.
Players deploy Gun, Laser, and Plasma Towers, plus Power Plants and Cryogen Refrigerators. Towers can be upgraded for range, attack rate, damage, and special abilities. Traps are placed along vehicle routes and require materials such as barrels, plates, and cement bags. Resource management covers barrels, cement bags, granite, wood, metal plates, battery capacity, and electricity consumption. Power Plants generate electricity, while Cryogen Refrigerators reduce tower heat. Experience, levels, Technology Points, a technology tree, ranks, and achievements provide progression during the defensive battles.
